2015 GRIP Update: Practical Genetic Genealogy

Six weeks from today GRIP registration for the June 28-July 3 courses will open at noon (Eastern) on Wednesday, February 4, 2015. These courses are bound to be very popular including “Practical Genetic Genealogy” with Debbie Parker Wayne, CG, CGL, CeCe Moore, and Blaine Bettinger, Ph.D., J.D. in June (and repeated July 19-24 with Debbie Parker Wayne, CG, CGL, Patti Hobbs, CG, and Blaine Bettinger, Ph.D., J.D.)

To see more about how to prepare for the DNA course or to learn more about how to use DNA evidence in genealogy, please see Debbie Wayne’s blog, “Deb’s Delvings in Genealogy.” Like any other genealogical evidence, understanding its pros and cons, when to use it, and how to interpret the data are key to its usefulness and ability to help “prove” a conclusion. This course will show these practical applications for DNA evidence in your genealogy in both summer offerings: June schedule and July schedule. For other courses offered, see the “Courses” tab above.

Over the next few weeks, stay tuned for more information on the upcoming GRIP courses in both the June and the July 19-24 weeks. It will be very hard to choose which course(s) to register for!
