Place Thursday, February 7, 2013, on your calendar as the day that registration for the Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh (GRIP) opens. Promptly at noon (Eastern) registrations for six courses offered in July will be taken. You can prepare by prioritizing which courses you might like to take by reviewing them under “Courses” and then 2013. Some courses will sell out extremely quickly so preparation is key.
You can also prepare your responses to the required registration questions by reviewing them on the Registration page under “Registration Process.” If you have the answers ready in a word processor you can cut and paste during registration, saving time and thought.
Evening lectures are scheduled for Monday, July 22, with Michael Hait, CG; Tuesday, July 23, with Angela McGhie; and Thursday, July 25, with Pamela Stone Eagleson, CG. These lectures are open to the public.
Speaking of lecturers in the news: Pam Eagleson was featured in her local newspaper. You can see it at http://www.journaltribune.com/articles/2013/01/07/news/doc50eae1f1ac04e529467159.txt
“See” you on February 7!
