The dorm rooms are modern and include a bathroom, microwave, and small refrigerator. The linen set provided for each person includes a blanket, two sheets, a pillow, a pillowcase, a towel, bath mat, and a washcloth. The photos below show the “undressed” room. Bring hangers to utilize the closet hanging space. Bring an Ethernet cable to take advantage of the Internet. There is no wireless in the dorm we are using. Previous students have found bringing a single-bed mattress cover or extra blanket “just in case” adds to their comfort.

The rooms are set up for two people with two single beds, two desks and two dressers. You may opt not to share your room by paying the private room fee.

Dorm room pricing include all of the above for five nights (Sunday through Friday morning) plus fifteen meals in the cafeteria (Sunday evening through Friday lunch).

Dorms are just steps from the classroom building. This photo was taken in the dorm entrance doorway looking toward the classroom building on the left and its nearby entrance under the portico.

Another dorm building across the parking lot.

PLEASE NOTE: Nearby hotels are the Holiday Inn – North on McKnight Road, the Hampton Inn on McKnight Road, and the Econo-Lodge, 105 V.I.P. Drive, Wexford. The latter has earned the Choice Gold Hospitality Award. Check online reviews before booking.

A new hotel, Home2 Suites by Hilton, is being build one mile from the college. It is unknown if it will be ready for July 2013 occupancy.

Oh, I am getting so excited! This looks great!
Even though I have family in the area, I am planning on being in the dorm! I just won a scholarship from my local society and this where am choosing to use it. Anxiously awaiting the registration date!
