Ground Transportation To/From the Airport
La Roche College is about 29 miles from the Pittsburgh Airport. Allow about 45 minutes by car between the two, depending on the time of day and the day of the week. Past students have shared the cost of a rental car which can be an economical solution to a shuttle or taxi.

Port Authority of Allegheny County Bus System
The express bus (28X) from the Pittsburgh International airport to downtown takes about 40 minutes and costs $3.75 one way plus $1.00 transfer. Once downtown you can transfer to the no. 12 bus (McKnight Road to Showcase Cinema) for fare of $1.25 and get off at the bottom of the La Roche College driveway on Babcock Blvd. about 40 minutes later. Downtown Pittsburgh is serviced by an Amtrak train station at 1100 Liberty Avenue. This is about 10 miles from La Roche College or about a 20 minute taxi ride.
Pittsburgh’s Megabus stop is at 10th and Liberty Streets at the Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh. This is about 10 miles from La Roche College. Fares on the Megabus are routinely as low-cost as $1 one way, depending on when you book the ticket. See their website for more information.
