The Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh (GRIP) has set the opening of registration for its June 25-30, 2017, courses on Wednesday, February 22 at noon Eastern (9 a.m. Pacific). At that time a link to the registration page will take you to the registration system where you can choose one of the six courses offered: Proof Arguments, Documentation, Writing, States of the Old Northwest Territory, Eastern European Research, and Research in Washington, DC. Please mark you calendar accordingly since many of these are popular courses and may fill quickly.
Registration opens on March 8 at noon Eastern (9 a.m. Pacific) for the six courses offered July 16-21, 2017 which include both Practical and Advanced Genetic Genealogy courses, New Jersey Research, Irish Research, Law for Genealogists, and Intermediate Genealogy.
Both weeks will be held at La Roche College which has directions and photos on the Location menu at http://www.gripitt.org/location. Early bird tuition through May 13 is $435 after which it is $475. Dorm housing is available which includes five nights and fifteen meals in the cafeteria for $295 each person in a shared room, and $395 for a private room.
