As the United States prepares for a national day of Thanks-Giving, we would like to say that we are grateful for each of you in your support of GRIP’s mission of providing the best genealogical education at the lowest cost possible. We appreciate those who have come year after year, and those whose first time it will be this year. We appreciate the community of acceptance, education, and fun you have all helped us build. We appreciate all of our instructors (check out our faculty page!) who work hard to provide you with 18 session in each course of hands-on experiential learning. We are grateful for those who come up with proposals for new courses and those who continue to offer needed courses. Our unique 2018 course list is phenomenal!
In this season of giving gifts, don’t forget to put GRIP on your wish list! Suggest to those wanting to do something nice for you that you don’t need another tie or crock pot, but contributions to your genealogy education fund would be greatly appreciated! With GRIP 2018 registration on February 14, it won’t be long after the holidays when you can put that fund to good use.
Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving with family, and friends who feel like family, and remembering those who have made these families-our ancestors. May we honor each one of them when we remember them in our family histories.
For some Thanksgiving fun, here is an interactive map that shows where the basic elements of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner are cultivated. We are grateful for the farmers who provide the feast. Enjoy!
